When a file or a disk is erased, only its reference in the file manager catalog disappears. The data itself remains untouched as long as it is not effectively overwritten.

Resurgence is a file recovering service based on the search of absent files from the disk catalog by holistic scanning method. While this approach allows the heaven-sent resurgence of data when all conventional methods fail, on the other hand, holistic scanning doesn't recover the tree structure of the disk (folder organization).
